The Apple Find My network has a security measure that discourages unauthorized tracking which could be causing your device to beep. These scenarios are the result of features created specifically to discourage users from being tracked without their knowledge.
There are a couple different ways that this can happen;
- If a person with a phone who is not associated with the Tracker is consistently nearby the device it will automatically make a beeping noise to alert the other person of the tracker in their vicinity.
- If a Tracker is not within the vicinity of its owner for a period of time it will emit a sound when it is moved.
Please Note: There is no way to bypass this setting as it is an agreed upon security procedure for Apple and Android users to prevent stalking.
